Alar cartilage of nose and upper lip.

Lies medial to levator labii superioris.

Functions

Raises upper lip and opens the nostrils.

Nerve Supply:
Buccal branch of the facial nerve (CN 7).

Blood Supply:
Lateral nasal artery.
