Radial collateral artery

Anatomy

Course
A terminal branch of the profunda brachii artery, that originates whilst the profunda brachii is travelling in the radial groove of the humerus. It descends close to the bone on the lateral aspect of the arm, and joins with the radial recurrent artery at the elbow joint.

Supply

Contributes to the blood supply of the lateral aspect of the arm, and to the elbow joint via its branches and its contribution to the anastomosis.
