Anatomy

Course
A branch of the radial artery, originating in the forearm, near the radial tuberosity. It ascends between the brachioradialis and supinator muscles over the lateral epicondyle to join with the radial collateral artery.

Supply

The radial recurrent artery contributes to the blood supply of the elbow joint, and the muscles on the lateral aspect of the arm via its anastomoses.
